i lead a simple country life but can party down with the best of them if i want to! i love being around family and friends and my animals. I'm very much in to a giant breed of dog, have been for 21 years, I breed (not very often ) show and run a rescue for these gentle giants.I love walks in the park, along the beach, picnics, dancing in the rain, crisp chill mornings, the smell of freshly mown grass, roaring log fires, a simple and uncomplicated life. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, love hugs, cuddles and affection, am extremely romantic.Have been told i have a wicked sense of humour and wonderful eyes, would like to think i also had a kind heart.I cry at sad films, music can really move me as well and i can not tolerate injustice, greed, cruelty, and bad manners.I do not smoke .

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
My ideal guy would be honest, kind, loyal and trust worthy, he must accept me for who i am and love my family as i do, a romantic would be a bonus as well, but definately not a smoker. I'm not looking for a millionaire, i just about take care of myself and do not expect any one else to do that for me! Some one who shares my passion for animals and the country would be great.

Having had 2 very long term relationships in the past have not had much experience of the dating scene, i would love to have a very good friendship with some one that i hope could grow in to something really special.

I have a varied taste in music, i'm a bit of a rock chick that also loves ballads, i appreciate music from the 40's and 50's right through to the present time, not so keen on hip hop and rap though.

I love the mentalist, csi, the unit, not so keen on big brother and i'm a celebrity type of programmes, enjoy a wide variety of films as long as they are not horror films or too bloody.

I keep house for myself and my 8 year old son .
In the past have run my own boarding kennels for 10 years, worked in a post office as a counter clerk, worked in a day care centre, helped my 1st husband with his butchery business and my 2nd Husband on his farm. ( no ! not collecting husbands, just had some really bad luck in life!!!)

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Going out to restaurants, going to my dog shows, spending time with the people i love, going to the beach or walking the dogs. I enjoy Dancing although could be better!!

What do you hate doing?
shopping for grocery's and then having to put it all away !

lost 7.5 stone in the last 20 months, 3 stone left to go, am getting fitter, walk, swim and use the excercise bike ( YUK)
